THE LEADING TASTEMAKERS IN MUSIC | FASHION | ART | LIFESTYLE
This past weekend, our friends at Pro1Performance celebrated their 1 year anniversary in the city of Carson where tuners throughout Southern California came to support and represent their teams/or as individuals. Pro1Performance is an automotive performance shop based in Pico Rivera providing installation services, auto detailing, rims, tires, auto accessories & performance parts. Usually the "Show Season" kicks off around late March/April in SoCal however many enthusiasts always love to start early and showoff their builds for 2015. Here's some of our coverage that we managed to capture during our visit at the anniversary event.
Team Hybrid started early this season making their appearance celebrating their 20th anniversary where the organization brought out several rides showing support to Pro1Performance. We also had a chance to catch up with our friends at Ripped Crew, Auto Fusion, Octane Racing, and Erick's Racing to name a few.
2015 will mark the year and return of Sound & Performance. Coming back from a busy show season in 2014 and at the SEMA Show in November, Johnny Avila, President of Octane Racing came out with his team showcasing their lineup of builds for the year including his Honda Civic Si build working with this year's sponsors including Robb's Garage, 2E Distribution, Studio7Graphics, RJ Coatings, JDM Sport, Firm400, JDMCarBoy, & also displaying his custom sound system featuring components from audio sponsor Cerwin-Vega Mobile. Studio7Graphics showed us some hospitality at their booth with refreshments and displayed their t-shirt designs and decals.
Firm400 media spotted many great builds during the show including a nice red Nissan 350z from the Low N' Slow crew, loyal JDM Sport supporter Steve Taylor brought out his fresh looking Toyota Corolla representing Team AutoFusion, a purple Infiniti G35, a blue Toyota Classic, a classic Fairlady Z, and a yellow classic truck with a Honda S2000 engine from Erick's Racing with some JDM Sport accessories. We also spotted Thebius Yu's Acura build which is coming along and looking great! Great job coordinating the event Thebius!
There were many great builds (some that are coming along with great potential) that came out to support Pro1Performance. We wanted to congratulate Pro1Performance on their milestone and wish you continued success in supporting the tuner community!Follow Pro1Performance On Instagram: @pro1performance
