JAMES GUNN REVEALS SUPERMAN LEGACY LOGO AND CONFIRMS 2025 REBOOT TO BE TITLED AS "SUPERMAN"

DCU Head James Gunn just revealed today the new "S" logo for the upcoming Superman Legacy project. Gunn has also confirmed on his Instagram that the new movie will be titled "Superman". Here is what was captioned on James Gunn's Instagram post revealing the "S" logo and new movie title:

"Overjoyed to be announcing the start of principal photography on SUPERMAN today, February 29, which just so happens to be - coincidentally and unplanned - Superman's birthday.

When I finished the first draft of the script, I called the film Superman: Legacy. By the time I locked the final draft, it was clear the title was SUPERMAN. Making our way to you July 2025." - James Gunn

The NEW DCU Superman Movie is set for release in July 11, 2025 starring David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Maria Gabriela de Faria as Engineer, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Terence Rosemore as Otis, and Sean Gunn as Maxwell Lord to name a few with more upcoming casting announcements. The film is directed by James Gunn and produced by Peter Safran.
